Thanks very much for the roundup. The notes seem too 'bitty' for me, it's as if Substack are trying to expand twitterwards outside a niche they filled very well. Bit like Youtube with the earlier Google Plus debacle (trying to be facebook) and now shorts (trying to be TikTok).
Maybe a better way would be a 'round table' feature where a group of substackers could write a collabarative article on a given topic, something podcasts can do very well.
For me, notes so far just seems useful for... noting things. And then I can compile them. It's a more efficient way of making combo posts than working all manually

This is the best use of notes I've seen so far - really helps me make sure I haven't missed anything.
