I doubt vaccines would incite war and secession by itself, but this and many other government overrreaches will precipitate big changes in government, probably starting in California next week, and the congress next year. A lot of other actions could precipitate violence, though. We never know what will precipitate war until it happens. Joe is on TV this afternoon saying freedom doesn't matter. That could do it.

Well, I propose nullification or secession followed by civil war, either within states or Federal-on-state, both of which occurred during the first one (if you count Virginia's division).

The bar for nullification/secession is low - Biden's mandate is unenforceable and economically unworkable in much of the country, there will be no choice but to nullify at least - and I might not have thought the chance of Federal-on-state war in response was very high before the admin suddenly signaled its commitment to mandates (after two months of ambiguity).

He's already ignoring scotus rulings. I expect impeachment and removal in 2023, nearly unanimous. Exciting times.

Well, Biden's speech exceeded Psaki's preview in no element so much as the announcement of likely future sanctions against elected opposition, so there's that.

And the lawsuits are lining up already. If he ignores any more judicial decisions, he won't last long.

The judiciary is excluded from "the state" during the declaration of exception, by definition. But here I yield the floor to Agamben - https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/arts-letters/articles/state-of-emergency-giorgio-agamben

I hope Joe sticks to that. He'll certainly be removed, quickly. No one believes there's any emergency. Several lawsuits are planned the day the regs drop. If he defies the likely stays, he's a goner.
